My VoIP and 3CX journey


At 24 years old I started work in a mobile phone store selling analogue mobile phones and then the first digital handsets.

Six months later I successfully applied for a Optus World franchise making me the youngest Optus World franchisee in Australia.


After 9 years running my Optus World at Black Forest in South Australia I changed franchise groups and operated mobile phone stores in Westfield Marion, West Lakes, Tea Tree Plaza and Rundle Mall in Adelaide with 25 staff.

It was at this time I started hosting phone systems in the Adam data centre.
In 2013 I left retail and concentrated on programming Asterisk and 3CX phone systems and built up my hosting portfolio.


Now located in the Intervolve and YourDC data centres I currently host phone systems for more than 120 organisations across Australia and build 3CX systems from small to medium enterprises.


In 2017 I became a 3CX advanced certified engineer and started programming 3CX systems not only for my own customers but started using my VoIP knowledge and programming skills to build 3CX systems for other IT professionals.

Currently I have deployments in every state in Australia and provide remote support for end users and IT professionals.

For larger deployments I often travel interstate.
